Filter for Kawasaki Prairie/V-Force 650/700

Kit # 151913

Don't let your stock set-up rob you of power and engine reliability. The Twin Air kits eliminate leaks and provide more air for power, but the Twin Air filter can still be removed in a snap for cleaning. Twin Air Power Flow kits have been used in our long term Air Filter field tests onboard our Kawsaki Prairies here at ATVPT since 2005.

How to oil your Twin Air Filter.

How to oil your Twin Air Filter:

Step 1: Oil The Filter
Soak filter in
filter oil , making sure to saturate the entire filter, coating the filter uniformly. Be sure to apply oil to the inside and outside of the filter.

STEP 2: Squeeze Excess
Squeeze excess oil out of the filter so that a light coat of oil remains. Continue to massage the filter until the filter is evenly coated.

STEP 3: Install Filter
Install the cage in filter and install filter into airbox. Before installing check carburetor boot for dirt.

Make sure you allow 24 hours for the filter oil to dry properly before you go riding.

How to clean your Twin Air Filter:

STEP 1 : Clean Filter
Soak filter in a kerosene based solvent [Air Filter Cleaner] in a tub for 3-5 minutes to cut the filter oil. Work out any trapped dirt or particles. The most important thing is that the inside of the filter is free of any particles whatsoever.

STEP 2 : Rinse Filter
Rinse Filter with warm, soapy water, making sure all dirt particles are removed. Repeat step 2 if necessary. Be sure to rinse the filter with clean water to ensure the soap residue is gone.

STEP 3 : Dry Filter
Place filter on paper towel or hang your filter somewhere clean and allow it to dry properly. Oiling the filter without allowing it to dry sufficiently will trap some of the moisture.

My Impressions:

Pros:
Washable, Dual-Layer, Foam replacement filter.

Great seal. Absolutely no leakage into the carb area.

Cons:
Just dealing with a sticky filter. I use disposable gloves.

Bottom Line:
I would highly recommend checking out Twin Air for your next replacement air filter if you value your engine.
