  • Note: The top picture shows that I have ambitious packing plans, eh. I only left a few non-essential items out.
  • This bag has a hungry appetite (pic # 1).
  • Wings zipped right up with out a struggle (pic # 2 & # 3).
  • This bag folds up tighter then a drum, and has nothing hanging off of it to catch on anything (pic # 4).

Attach Bag to Rack or Carry In Your Rack Bags?

   &
  • I prefer to keep my SWS Powersport Utility Bag inside of my rack bags to keep it out of the elements.
  • This is because we ride in a lot of wet, muddy, & dusty trail areas here in the UP of Michigan.
  • I like to have my belts, tools, and other necessary items that I am carrying with me to be dry, and free of dust when I need to use them.
  • You can quite easily attach the bag to your front or rear rack to transport. This would work ok if you were in a dry riding area.

My Impressions:

Pros:
Multiple compartments allow you to organize what ever you are carrying in the SWS Bag.

Solid construction.

Innovative design.

Cons:
Bag closes up nicely, but dust and water can find it's way into the central part of the bag, if you drive through a mud hole with the bag attached to your racks uncovered. My solution is to carry the sws bag in my rack bags, where it stays nice and dry until needed.

Bottom Line:
I am told this SWS Utility Bag has many uses, and can be used accordingly so. Having a bag that you can just open up, unfold and work out of is a very slick idea indeed. I am a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, and the first thing we tell students is to work out of your dive bag, and keep your gear organized. With this bag you can do just that, when you are in the garage or on the trail.

You have a choice of adding or subtracting a multitude of different compartments that will allow you a variety of ways to organize your tools and goodies.

I chose to use it to carry what I call my trail side survival kit. This is comprised of several essential items, in case of mechanical or other atv emergencies.

Tow rope, tree saver, extra cvt belts, necessary tools to remove and replace the cvt belt, water, small first aid kit, etc.

As you can see in the pictures above, I stuffed this bag to see what it could carry and I was impressed at how much I could carry, but still remain organized.

If you are looking for a way to carry and keep your trail essentials organized, then you should take a look at the Stealth Workshop Powersport Utility Bag.
