LCD Readout.
The easy-to-read display measures 5.0-99.5 PSI in half pound increments. Accurate to plus/minus 1% with a lifetime lithium battery that never needs replacement.

Ergonomic Shape.
Scientifically designed contours provide a solid and comfortable fit in your hand.

Hi-Grip Rubberized Texture.
Non-Slip surface provides precise handling and feel.

'Double-Bridge' smart-chip micro-processor.
Compensates for ambient temperature, humidity and altitude variation. Provides extremely accurate readings!

Valve Depressor.
Built-in depressor is a twist of the wrist away for quick air adjustments.

Tread Depth Gauge.
Retractable measurement tool allows for tire life calculation and replacement assessment.

Carrying Case.
Durable carrier protects the gauge in a toolbox or while on the road.

My Impressions:

Pros:
Handy carrying case should keep your tire gauge in good shape, and it makes it easier to carry in your pocket too.

Having multiple features built into the gauge like the thread dept indicator, and the valve depressor is convenient.

LCD is very accurate. We tested in next to a higher end tire gauge, and it provided identical readings.

Automatic power on when the gauge comes in contact with the valve stem, and auto shut off conserves batteries.

Cons:
None yet. long term testing will let us know how durable it is.

Bottom Line:
Having an accurate air gauge is a must when you test the amount of tires that we do. Air pressure is important from your passenger car tires to your atv that you operate. Not only does it provide better performance, but also better fuel consumption and better tire wear, it provides better traction as well.

When you run 4 to 5 psi on trails and as low as 2 psi in our sand paddles, you need a highly accurate air pressure gauge. If we run too much air pressure on the sand we will not have the traction we desire. If we run too little of air pressure on the trails, it could cause premature tire failure, and even a catastrophic accident, of which I have no desire to do!

So, this RoadGear Digital Tire Gauge would make a happy addition to your trail tool box or just a companion for you cars glove box.
Note: Having it on hand doesn't help you any. Practice using it before riding that expensive ATV or Motorcycle. It may make your days ride just that much safer and better.
