I got my nickname from an ATV forum. It is because I am 6’6” and I weigh just over 300lbs.
I recently moved to California from Utah for work and I am trying to find a way to move back to Utah and still have a great job. I work for an Energy Service Company that is owned by a major oil company and I am having fun working in the challenging and ever changing environment.
Before I finished my education, I worked as a car audio/video/security installer for 8 years and now I am happy to say that I can do it as a hobby rather than a profession.
I first got into modifying and upgrading ATVs when I purchased my P650 in 2003. I found a site that had everything to offer including tech tips and what to buy. I started modifying my P650 and I haven’t stopped. I enjoy talking with others about how to make things better for cheaper and just talking about the sport all together.
My first ride on a personal motorized vehicle was when I was 8 years old on a 50cc motorcycle. I was hooked for life. Growing up, all of my friends had ATVs, snowmobiles, sand rails, etc. and they were kind enough to let me tag along with them. I didn’t own my own ATV until I was 23. For my 23rd birthday, my lovely wife bought me (with my money) a 2001 500cc Honda Rubicon, and I have been testing my machines limits as well as my own limits ever since.
I love that feeling you get when you have stepped up to the next level or jumped higher than you have ever jumped before. I should probably be riding a sport quad rather than a utility and if it weren’t for the love of being in the mountains on trails that are nearly impossible to conquer, I would be riding a sport quad.
