  • CleanUp’s handy aerosol container allows you to spray it on, allow it to set for a minute and then thoroughly rinse it and the dirt away with a hard stream of water.

Step 2, Apply MPPL:



Facts:

  • Maxima Multi Purpose Penetrant Lube is an excellent, all purpose penetrating lube that displaces water and provides excellent rust and corrosion protection.
  • It is useful wherever a penetrating lubricant is required.
  • Maxima MPPL forms a protective film on metal and will not harm plastic or painted surfaces.
  • Excellent fogging oil or starting fluid for 2-cycle or 4-cycle engines.

Step 3, Spray on Chain Wax:

  • Maxima Chain Wax is formulated with heavy duty, anti-wear, and extreme pressure additives that provide excellent lubrication for all chains, cables, and sprockets.
  • Maxima Chain Wax penetrates deeply, lubricating non accessible areas, reducing chain stretch and wear.

Features:
  • Eliminates “fling off” & seals lubricant to chain
  • Special paraffin base creates waxy film

  • For o-ring and conventional chains
  • Does not attract dirt

Chain Care & Maintenance Procedure:

.

1)       Hose off any mud and loose debris from the chain.

       

2)       Spray on Maxima Clean-Up.

       

3)       Allow 2-3 minutes for Clean-Up to breakup chain lube and any remaining debris.

       

4)       Hose off Clean-Up with a heavy stream of water.

       

5)       Repeat steps 2-4 if necessary.

6)       Spray on Maxima MPPL to displace moisture and to put a thin layer of rust protection down.

       

7)       Spray on Maxima Chain Wax or Synthetic Chain Guard.

       

8)       Allow several minutes for chain lube to set up.

       

9)       Ride!

Safety:
      A dry chain will lead to premature failure, and could cause an accident.

First Impressions:
    The Maxima 3 step chain maintenance system is easy to apply, and is a proven product in the field.


Field Test:
 
Let's face it, if you drive an ATV with a chain you have to do periodical maintenance . The Maxima Chain Wax goes on easy and brings back life into your chain.
We test our ATV's in most conditions , mud, snow, water, etc. and this seems to take a toll on our equipment.
I like the way the chain wax goes on, and you can tell that it is on your chain. We are currently running this lube on both of our Kymco test quads with great results.
The chain wax from Maxima appears to wear very well in most of our driving conditions, and we are very pleased with the results.


Pros:
    Easy application.
    3 step process, allows you to control the application process.
    Very durable.

Cons:
    None so far. Maxima has quality products.



Bottom Line

 
I would highly recommend the Maxima Chain Wax to anyone that is looking for added chain protection & longevity, if you drive your ATV's in rugged environments.
