We are featuring both the Holz Clutch Vent Kit, and the Vent Kit in this review. In my opinion I would not install one without the other. They are both very effective in helping to remove heat from under your sleds hood.

08-09 REV XP CLUTCH VENT KIT
Model HRP8023
- Designed to direct more airflow to the clutch and belt to give you extended belt life and performance.
- This vent is intended to mount on the front section of the left side cover on '08 XP's only.
- Note: This vent could also be used on the opposite side-cover to help reduce your exhaust temp.
- This vent is a great addition to the Holz XP vent kit featured below.
HRP Vent Kits '08-'09 Summit Rev-XP
Model HRP8022
- Designed to increase airflow to exhaust, engine, clutches and belt for better overall performance and longer belt life.
- CNC punched aluminum with black anodized finish.
- Kit comes with vent, rivets and mounting template for a professional installation.
- Note: This kit is a great addition to the Holz Clutch Vent featured above.
Vent Kit Installation:
Both kits come with patterns to help you mark your hood before you start cutting. The first thing you should do is cut out your patterns with a sharp razor knife. Then position your pattern over the area where you will be installing the vents, and mark them with a visible sharpie.
Very carefully cut out the vent holes for both kits, and clean up around your vent holes. Also drill out your rivet holes at the same time.
I like to position my vents over the cut out holes and pre-insert my rivets to help align my vents. When you have them like this your vents are where they should be and you can proceed in riveting your vents in position.

I chose Holz Racing Products Vent Kits because they are designed to direct more airflow to the engine, clutch & belt, which will give you extended belt life, and more engine performance.
Remember, heat robs performance, and a cool running engine
will he a happy engine.
Installation is straight forward, and can be done right with a small amount of specialized tools, which most mechanically inclined people will already have in your garage anyway.
