  • Installation is simple with very little tools needed.
  • First, remove your oem swing arm skid plate.

My Impressions:

Pros:
Best in class aluminum skid plates.

Heavy duty finely crafted welded aluminum construction.

Excellent fit up.

Cons:
None.

Bottom Line:
Installation of this DG Skid Plate was made easy because of the excellent fit up. I was impressed in the way it just fit in place and bolted in perfectly with 4 bolts.

My hat is off to the fabricators at DG for making a top shelf product that will protect your valuable atv's rear drive components, such as brake rotor, swing arm, Chain & rear sprocket.

Do you need a skid plate on a sport atv, heck yes, if you plan on driving it like a sport atv!

I would highly recommend you taking a look at any product that DG has for your ATV or Side by Side. They have your ATV protected from front to rear, or bottom, with peace of mind that you need while you are the trail.

Important Tech Note: If you adjust your chain and have the cam-adjustment adjusted towards the rear, it will lower your chain Sprocket & Brake Rotor, allowing it to hit on the skid plate. This will happen on either the stock or and after-market skid plate. So be very careful when making adjustments to your chain that you do not make this mistake. I experimented with this and it lowered the rear sprocket & brake rotor over 1/2", and the sprocket & brake rotor were hard up against the swing-arm skid plate.
