We have installed the BRP Windshield on the BRP 800XT, to help us avoid a little of the Michigan cold and snow this winter. Judging by the looks of it, fit and finish are superb. I like the way it fits as a part of the machine, and does not look like a lot of aftermarket windshields that you know are just that. It adds to the overall great looking lines of the BRP 800XT. We will see in the upcoming months how effective it is here at Tests Site X.

BRP Windshield

Installation

Very easy project. I put the windshield together on the living room floor while I watched the news. Take your time with this part of the project. Once you have the windshield together you are ready to install it on the ATV.

Installation is a breeze. Follow the directions and you will have an easy installation of the BRP Windshield. Just make sure you keep the bolts loose until you have it mounted. Line it up where you want it and then tighten all the bolts. Very easy project and well worth the effort. I am looking forward to riding in the Mi weather now.

Outside enjoying the snow.

Built in Hand Guards that should keep the cold air off nicely.

I like the way the BRP Windshield blends in with the rest of the ATV's realestate.

I am liking this BRP Windshield.

All around look at the BRP Windshield.

Final Impressions.

I really like the ease of installation of the BRP Windshield and the ease of removal. It appears to be a very durable and esthetically pleasing piece of equipment. I already enjoy the way it keeps the cold air off my face and hands the same way a sport windshield on a motorcycle does. If you want to be able to see unhindered by a windshield in your face, sit in a normal position on your ATV. If you want to avoid the wind and rain, you can tuck in for a nice sheltered ride. Bare in mind if you are climbing, or have need to lean over this windshield, it can be done in a very safe manner, unlike some windshields that I have used in the past.
Long term testing has proven it to be a very valuable piece of equipment for this ATV, or any ATV you plan on riding in inclement weather.

Note: The best feature to me is the way it fits with the rest of the ATV. Also the built in hand guards are very slick as well.
