|
| We are testing the Thor AC gear including the jersey, pants, gloves and Sentinel roost guard. This appears to be Premium Vented, breathable warm weather riding gear at an affordable price. | |

In using the Thor AC vented MX "sport" style gear I rode a
variety of trials on two different trips. The first one was mostly dirt
roads, two tracks and routes in approximately 80 degree weather. At higher speeds the gear vents very well, so much so that if it gets chilly out towards dusk you may want to add garments over or under the gear. Although cooler temps is not the intended weather for this gear you never know and its better to be prepared. In very dusty conditions it helps to have a thin t-shirt on to filter some of the dust that will pass thru the mesh jersey. This is the case with all open mesh vented gear and is not a deterrent as it will work great in the intended conditions- warmer weather, desert and sand dunes. On my other trail ride we were on very tight twisty hard packed woods trials that were a slow go and the temps were well into the 90's! The Thor AC vented gear was a blessing in this type of hot humid Michigan weather and I only needed to stand up a short time to get a little more air flow to my lower extremities and to dry out. In the case of this type of hot weather this gear is a must as you need the protection it provides along with its superior venting ability. Wearing jeans or a lesser vented gear would be torture! This setup was very comfortable to wear when riding in extremely hot weather. Products preformed exceptionally in the field and vented well as promised. The AC gear fit well, didn’t bind and looked good before and after washing/ wearing. Built in padding aids in confidence. Held up well to date and washed up with minimal care. The Sentinel roost guard is a high quality, light weight, padded, none restrictive alternative to full roost guards and is made of quality materials. It is fully adjustable and can be used in three different configurations. -Full roost protection, front and back. -Full frontal protection with rear strap only . -Use with or without number plate. The unique strap style "ratchet" adjustment is easy to use and secures the roost guard in place for easy on /off and adjustability. This product is lined, vented well, and fits a medium sized male good, such as me, with minimal ride up. |

Bottom Line |
|
|
| A good value
worth the MSRP, Functional and Durable gear. I would recommend these
products for all quads, but mostly sport quads. Note: Product in this review provided by THOR MX www.thormx.com |
