My Ride Impressions:

Pros:
Rugged, durable, most powerful trail atv built.

Comes fully equipped for any off road adventure.

Cons:
Tires don't match the quality of the atv.

Bottom Line:
This sis not my first Outlander and most likely will not be my last. The Outlander accomplished every task I set out to do with it. It by far was the work horse of our atv fleet for 08.

While I ran free with the renegade, the Outlander was called on to go the same places as I was going, but it also had to carry all the gear and serve as the tow truck at the same time.

When we shot the quad trails tv show, it severed double duty has the mobile camera platform for the film crew. We went through swamps, over rocks, and through things you would think twice of going with a regular atv.

My only complaint with the Outlander was the tires that came with it. They didn't last 100 miles before they had a nice gash in the tread area. So, the first thing we did is install a good set of tires and we were good to go.

For the duration of our review period that was the only issue with this atv.

So, the bottom line is if you want an atv with tons of power, that can carry gear like a mule all day, but still go play in the trails, then the Can-Am Outlander 800XT is the atv for you.
